Clickfunnels vs Kartra – Get The Answer Right Here

Many of you might have noticed a new clickfunnels competitor being promoted non-stop lately called Kartra… well I want to give you the inside scoop on it.

First, I want you to know that I’m a member of one of it’s biggest supporters Inner Circle, Frank Kern who has been a mentor of mine for while… Which means I’ve secretly had access to Kartra for many months now.

Next, you need to know that even though I’m a student of his this review is not biased what so ever. (you’ll understand in a moment)
Let’s get to the tech specs and capabilities out of the way first:

At first glance Kartra sounds awesome, right?
Let’s dig in… Clickfunnels vs Kartra

So firstly, if you’re on any of the “guru” marketing lists like me, you’ve probably been getting absolutely blown up by promos for Kartra. They’re pushing it crazy hard.

If you’re not, what is it?

It’s a clickfunnels competitor: landing pages, auto responder, marketing automation, all that stuff.

On paper it literally does everything we marketers could dream of.

High level automations like Infusionsoft, cool landing pages and funnels like Clickfunnels, and a ton more all for less than Clickfunnels costs.

Unfortunately It’s a shit show.

Yes, my mentor is a big part of this thing, and while I support him all the time I can’t in good conscience promote this software to anyone.

It’s not ready yet.

It’s clunky, unorganized, un-intuitive, and flat out confusing.

An example… I spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to make a one click upsell offer button be hidden until a few minutes into the VSL, a standard time delay.

In Clickfunnels this can be done in 6 seconds with about 2 clicks… In Kartra I never actually figured it out after wasting all that time on it.

In Clickfunnels the funnels are all neatly organized, in Kartra the pages are literally all listed in a single “Pages” tab. If you do not carefully name each page good luck seeing or remembering which page goes to which funnel.

Kartra Interface:

Too be fair, Kartra is new and has a lot of potential.

However until these basic “quality of life” improvements are made I do not suggest anyone use it.

Also a side note: I’ve noticed every single email I’ve gotten from a Kartra user (remember it has built-in autoresponder/email) – every single email from this system, has gone straight into my promos tab in gmail.

From several different people, none of them have ever reached my main inbox with this system. So deliver ability is poor.
I have high hopes for Kartra in the future, for now I’d suggest sticking with Clickfunnels.
